Another wonderful month at Hale Pukalani. We’re already looking forward to returning next year for more hiking, biking, tennis, exploring and, of course, beach time.

The Pizza Hut in the shopping center makes a great pizza. The dough is different from what we are used to on the mainland, but well worth trying if you like pizza. Also, the geckos on the windows at night are fascinating.

If there is a center to Maui, this is it. A wonderful place to call home for the past 8 days. Who needs to reside by a beach in “condo city” when you can relax here in Pukalani. Quiet nights, full moon, stars, brisk breezes at times, peaceful afternoons – all made our stay memorable.

It’s hard to think this week is already gone. We have had so much fun. Thankyou for all the helpful hints as to where to hike and eat. We did the sunrise at Haleakala; this is a must do. Also, we went snorkeling, a first for both of us. We saw dolphins, turtles, and my favorites, the whales. We can’t say enough wonderful things about staying here.

Pukalani no ka oi!! Jim and Christi were here and enjoyed every moment…our beautiful view from the lanai, the awesome sunsets Great snorkeling, try 4 graves/caves just past Makena surf- saw 3 turtles, many fish & coral too. Great whale watching. We loved Makawao town and Paia town; good shopping. We loved everything.

We love Pukalani! The view from the Lanai is great. We loved looking at the bay, the ocean, the planes landing and the lights at night. Morning coffee while watching the sunshine on the West Maui Mountains is incredible.
